I lost my Horse: What to do?

Don't panic. Here are the essential steps to maximize your chances of finding your companion quickly.

1 Report it immediately

Reactivity is key. Download the Lost'Him app to benefit from our visual recognition system (Pet Match) and alert the community around you.

2 Contact authorities and professionals

  • Report the loss to the national identification database. This is essential!
  • Contact veterinary clinics, shelters, local associations, and nearby city halls.
  • Report the disappearance to the police station or gendarmerie (especially in case of suspected theft).

3 Take action on the ground

The immediate environment is the first place to search.

  • Call your pet during quiet times (early morning or late at night).
  • Leave food, water, or a piece of clothing with your scent near the disappearance site.
  • Ask your neighbors to check their garages, cellars, or garden sheds.
  • Print posters (the Lost'Him app allows you to generate a PDF automatically) and place them on windshields, at local shops, and at bus stops.
